Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Northwind Drift Foods produces packaged foods at its Milwaukee plant, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
