Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Summit Oak Environmental Services is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 721 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
