Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Highbridge Meridian Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Atlanta plant, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
