Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Bluepeak Keystone Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Jackson design routes and schedules, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
