Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Nova West Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Honolulu with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
