Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Redstone Drift Freight is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
