Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Redstone Yarrow Inspection Services is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
