Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Bright Linden Environmental Services is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
