Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Wren Inspection Services and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
