Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Amberfield West Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Memphis region, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Track performance measures for grower contracts and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
