Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Birch Environmental Services and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
