Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Fernwood Pine Manufacturing is a Orlando manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for customer orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
