Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Redstone Umber Facilities Group is a facilities company in Knoxville with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 255 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
