Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Rivermark West Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Seattle. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for loads and lanes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Seattle. • We reply to every applicant.
