Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Northwind Clear Farms Group supplies farm and food customers across the Cleveland region, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
