Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Philadelphia, PA)

Westbrook Forge Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Philadelphia. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
