Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Orlando, FL)

Lumen Nest Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Orlando and nearby communities. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 815 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
