Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Orlando, FL)

We are growing our team at Nova Birch Environmental Services and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 63 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
