Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Omaha, NE)

Nova Stone Transit Planning is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
