Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Oklahoma City, OK)

Ironwood Birch Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Oklahoma City working with agencies and riders, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oklahoma City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
