Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Knoxville, TN)

Harborlight Beacon Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track performance measures for machine downtime and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
