Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Forge Environmental Services Group and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 298 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
