Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Kansas City, MO)

Harborlight Basin Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
