Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Jackson, MS)

Northwind Summit Construction is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for safety records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for safety records and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
