Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Bright Orchard Farms Partners and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 284 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
