Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Fox Auto Group and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for supplier deliveries and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with vehicle inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
