Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Hartford, CT)

Amberfield Ridge Construction is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for safety records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Track performance measures for safety records and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
