Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Grand Rapids, MI)

Highbridge Oak Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
