Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Grand Rapids, MI)

Westbrook Summit Construction is a Grand Rapids contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 78 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for subcontractor invoices and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
