Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Drift Facilities Group looks after properties across the Grand Rapids region, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for customer sites and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with supply orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
