Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Grand Rapids, MI)

Redstone Umber Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for safety inspections and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cleaning schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
