Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Fresno, CA)

Cedar Drift Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Fresno. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for billing disputes and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
