Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Cleveland, OH)

Fernwood Meridian Foods produces packaged foods at its Cleveland plant, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
