Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Boise, ID)

We are growing our team at Northwind Bridge Foods Group and adding a Senior Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Boise. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
