Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Boise, ID)

Fernwood Sparrow Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Boise. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
