Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Baltimore, MD)

Amberfield Birch Environmental Services is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 793 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with weigh tickets.
