Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Austin, TX)

Rivermark Ivory Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Austin. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 980 people based in Austin. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
