Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Austin, TX)

Summit Cross Foods is a Austin food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
