Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Austin, TX)

Northwind Wilder Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Austin. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service appointments. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
