Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Austin, TX)

Nova Meadow Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Austin and nearby communities, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Austin. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
