Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Anchorage, AK)

Redstone Harbor Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Anchorage working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 852 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
