Senior Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Anchorage, AK)

Harborlight Linden Freight is a Anchorage logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
