Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Wichita, KS)

Harborlight Basin Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Wichita, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for client sites and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
