Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Tucson, AZ)

Cedar Granite Construction is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
