Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Tucson, AZ)

Highbridge Birch Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Tucson. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
