Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (Seattle, WA)

Cedar Wren Freight Partners coordinates shipments and warehousing around Seattle, and we need a Senior Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with loads and lanes.
