Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (San Jose, CA)

Westbrook Mill Environmental Services Partners is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 578 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service complaints.
