Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (San Jose, CA)

Lumen Meridian Inspection Services is an inspection company in San Jose with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for client sites and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
