Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (San Diego, CA)

Foxglove Ashton Freight is looking for a Senior Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
