Senior Operations Manager - process improvement (San Diego, CA)

Bluepeak Forge Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around San Diego. We are hiring a Senior Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
